Fire at will means to keep firing until target is destroyed or another command is given.

. Chief of section will estimate range if no accurate range data is available.

Use lead chart mounted in commander’s cupola (shown below) for initial lead. An additional

lead chart is mounted on left wall of cab for gunner’s reference as required.

. Assistant gunner will use DIRECT FIRE RANGE PLATE to determine elevation based on

announced range, charge, and projectile.
