Personnel Heater (P/N 11669489--1 and 11669490--1) — Continued

b. Shut-Down

WARNING

To prevent injury to personnel, do not use the MASTER switch to shut the personnel heater

down. Fuel vapors will accumulate in the ventilating air circuit, and the personnel heater may

also be damaged by reverse burning.

Shutting Down Hupp and Stewart Warner Heaters

To stop personnel heater operation, move the HEATER switch (2.1) to the OFF position. The blower will continue to

operate for approximately 3 minutes to allow the system to cool. If blower continues to operate or otherwise

malfunctions, notify unit maintenance.

Shutting Down Global Heaters

Move HEATER switch (2.1) to OFF position. Global heater will enter purge mode and after four minutes it will

automatically shutdown.
