Adjusting Track Tension
a. Checking Track Tension

Move vehicle forward and backward several times on level ground, stopping by shifting transmission
shift control lever to “N” (neutral) and coasting to a stop without applying the brakes.

Turn off engine.

Measure the distance between top of the third road wheel (1) and the track (2). The distance should be
1/4 inch (6.3 mm) to 3/8 inch (9.6 mm). If not, adjust track tension.
