Some M109A3 vehicles have two hull rear doors. Follow removal procedures for

M109A2/M109A4/M109A5

vehicles, but remove both doors.

a. Removal

1 Remove four screws (1), four Iockwashers (2), and two plates (3). Discard Iockwashers.

2 Remove four screws (4), four Iockwashers (5), and bracket (6). Discard Iockwashers,

3 Remove four screws (7), four Iockwashers (8), and bracket assembly (9). Discard Iockwashers.

4 Remove two screws (10) and fastener (11).
