Do not smoke or use open flame when working on fuel system. An explosion may

occur, causing severe injury or death.

Remove locking pin (1), cotter pin (2), straight pin (3), and cover (4). Discard cotter pin.

Unscrew filler cap (5).

Unclip filler cap chain (6) from filler tube (7).

Slide filler cap gasket (8) sideways over locking tab (9). Remove and discard gasket.

Remove eight screws (10), top washer (11 ), outer seal (12), inner seal (13), and bottom washer(14) (items 11

thru 14 can be removed as a unit).
