Firing mechanism assembly removed

(TM 9–2350–311–10)

Disassembly

1

Place firing mechanism (1) on solid surface.

Depress follower (2) until grooved pin (3) can be removed from manual control lever (4) and rod end clevis (5).

Separate follower (2) and case (6) from sear group (7).

Remove two springs (8).

5

Remove grooved pin (9) from rod end clevis (5) and separate firing hammer (10), hammer guide cup (11), firing

spring (12), and sear (13).

Inspection

Inspect for broken, burred, and missing parts. Replace as required.
