a. Inspect M2A2 air purifier (1) for dents,
loose connections, and missing parts.
Notify support maintenance if any
damage is detected.
b. Perform airflow check at each station
using M39 airflow tester
(TM 3--6680--316--10).
c. Inspect condition of hose assemblies
(2). Check for deterioration, loose con-
nections, holes, tears, and other dam-
age (para 17--5). Check that air moves
through all orifice connectors (3) when
system is on.
NOTE
Allow M3 electrical air heater to oper-
ate for approximately 15 minutes be-
fore checking for warm air.
d. Check operation of M3 electrical air
heater (4) by turning control knob (5)
on. NBC indicator should light and air
should get warmer as control knob is
turned clockwise.
e. Troubleshoot NBC system if defective
(para 3--3j.).
