The
lifE and tiLE cylinders on that dozer ±ake
many

hard
knock
during
a
rugged
workday,
and if there's nothing to ab-
sorb the shock pressures within the hy²
draUlic system the fiLter is the first to
get walloped. The gasket or connections
let go and i³ sCarEs Co bLow like a gUsher.
The shock absorber for the hydraulic
system is the nitrogen accu´Ulator. Its
main job is to bUffer the shock pressures
thaµ can damage the hydraulic system
parEs¶especially ±he fi·±er¸
