SPRING SAViNG INFORMATION
Opening and closing the sHiEld on your
MLL9 pEriscope mount has gotta be an
inside job if you wan± to kEep thE zing
in tHe sprIng.
Use the shie²d operating handle (inside
tHe tank at the TC Position), to move the
sHield.
³f you try to opEn or close tHe sHield by
pulling on it from thE outside of the tank,
you'l² likely brEak the spring, FSN 1240-
99´µ8430¶

Ml COLLIMATOR LIGHT cHANGE
The light diffuser in ·he reticle ce²l Asem¸
bly of your M 1 collimator is a right handy
gadget. Only thing¹it can't take tHE Heat for
a long period becaºse it's madE out of
p²astic wHich warps or burns througH»
THis won't app²y to tHe new production
M¼'s whicH will have a glass diffuser.
For now, thougH, just remember that thE
reticle ligHt Has tq be turned off When
you're not using tHE co²limator, 'cause your
ligHt diffuser can't take long periods of
Heat½
