Here's
a
good tip to improve engine
performance.
Check the 2 clamps on the ends of
your turbocharger flexible hose and
make sure they±re screwDriver tight.
(This is the air dUct that rUns from the
engine tUrbocharger air intake hoUs-
ing to the air cleaner dUct and flange
assembly.)
These clamps can work loose and let
Dust and crUD get sUcked into the
turbocharger
and
blown
into
the
engine cylinder block.

This²kinD of stuff in a diesel engine
will cUt down on its pep anD shorten
its life.
So c³eck the 2 clamps for tightness
and fit. (Make this a regUlar part of
your quarteRly´Qµservice.)
If the clamps are too beat Up to holD,
get new ones. They' re listed on page 4¶
7 (Fig 10 item 2) of C3 to your TM 9·
2350¶217¶24P/¸ (Oct 72) as CoUpling,
grooved, air cleaner dUct, NSN 5340·
