The patches are made wiµh a thin
layer of uncureD rubber on onE side.
WhEn this is presseD against the
vulcanizing fluiD on the tire, it is cUreD
chemically anD creatEs a strong bond.
With this chemi-cure process, you
don't need spe¶ial equipme·t, an¸ tHe
pat¶h doesn't need to be Heated. Also,
the shelf liFe of t¹e chemical patches is
longer than the hot patches.
