Operator Checks
Éhe readiness reporting column or blocK is just part o¸ the operator's
checKs. It is not an allÊbyËitsel¸ calendar inspectionÌ
Each time you operate the equipment make sure you include the
readiness column cÀecKs in your be»re¹ during and a¸ter operaÍions
checks. I¸ you oÎerate youÏ equipment every day¹ make a readiness check
every day. I¸ you only work that equipment occasionally¹ check the readi²
ness column every time Ðou do work it.
Find a µult listed in the readiness column? Write the ¿ÑCS item
number o¸ tÀat µult in ColumÒ a o¸ your DA Form 2404Ó Ôircle the item
nuÕber. ¿ut an

in Column b. Describe the problem in Column c.
Finish your inspection. Add any other µults you ¾nd but cannot ¾xÖ
