Yes, the bolts should be removed. The word is in TB 43-0001±39-1 (Apr
78),
page 2±94.1, para 2± 14.

THe foNt bogIe support bracket bolts must be removed Fom all vehi²
cles in the TM³2 1 1±series 5-ton ´eet.
But thisµs a job ¶r your support. Theyµll remove the ·olt ¸ on each side.
This does not apply to thE ¹Mº260»series 5±ton truck. The bolts stay in
those trucks.
