Watered Down fuel's a headAche. ±nd you get just that on the M60-series
tanks without the automatic dump fuel/water separator.
Water in fueL can cause Fuel injector and engine problems.
±nd dirt, sLUdge and water²condensate³will plug up a new Fuel filter
pronto.
You've got to ge´T that crud out of there.
µuring cold weather you're suppOsed to pump out the condensate from both ¶
fuel tanks daiLy on the M60, M60±· and M60±2 vehicles. ¸hat's the word on

authorizes 1 pump per platoon and 1 per maintenance section. Îse the same
C¸±, ±Ïp ±, as the authority for the fueL hose aÐd quickºdisconnect coupling.
Ñere's what to do:
When you pull your Qºservice, takÒ an extra 20 minutes or so and pump out
the dirt, water and sludge from the fuel tanks.
Óump oUt the condensate from the tankÔabout 5 to 10 gallons. Catch the
sediments in a bucket, can, barreL²anythingÊ Éever pump it out on the ground.
Éow go to the right fUeL tank and do the same thing.
