If you pumped the accelerator pedal
too much, the engine could be flooded.
This means the spark pLugs are wet
anD can't fire± The sparK won't jump
the gap² You can smell gas²

is the choke valve² It should be closed²
IF µt's not, push the accelerator pedal
completely to the floor² The valve

spray some breakÀfree solvent on the

engiNe's combustion chamber to dry
the spark plugs²
Try to start the engine² If µt won't
start on the second Ãry, stop² ¼et it

To check µt out, shut off the enginE²
Take off the aµr cleaner²
¼ook at the Çhoke valve² If µt's
closed, try to opeN µt With your fµNger²
Careful² Èon't force µt² ¿atch for
bµNdµNg or beNt lµnÉage²
¿hen you get the chokE openÊ put the aµr cleaner back²
