You don't± Those bearings are lubed when the axLe²s removed± That means
by both GAA and gear oiL³ The main the differentiaL oil leveL²s got tO be
reason for the GAA is to insure that checked-and oil added as needed´
the bearings are protected by a grease after the axle²s reinstalLedµ
film when the vehicle²s inactIve for a
long spelLµ
Since oil¶s the main lube for the
bearings, it²s doubly important to
make sure the differentiaL lube Level is
up to snuffµ Some oil²s liKeLy to be lost
²ere's an oil c³ecker you
can make fRom a pIecE of
metal
