Torque Limiter
Another "no guess± area is the
torque
limiter
on
the
magazine
assembly.
THe correct torque limiter setting
is 25 to 30 LB-in² In other words,
when
adjusted
right,
the
limiter
sHou³d break free or slip only when
25 to 30 Lb´in oF pressure is appLied²
µF it doesn't, readjust the limiter¶
IF you adjust it too high, the beLt
may snap or jam in the Feeder· !f it¸s
too low, the belt will tend ¹o ³oop or
Bunch
up
and jam the feeder or
