Bore Evacuator TLC
It's a real pain trying to remove a bore evacuator that's fozen on a tank gun
tube.
NotH±ng new there, right? WelL, removing the eVcuator is a whole bunch eAsier
iF You've FO²Lowed the cleaning ³d lubinG instructions in Your ve´cle's

Wµen You clean and lube aFter each ¶ring, or at least quarterlY when Y·u're
not

come oFF slick as a wh±stle.
But what happens when an evacuator wants to Make like a stubborn old mule
and won't bud¸e? ¹ou have to give it a little Persuasion. Thing is, You don't beat
tµe evacuator to pieces with a sledgehº»er. ¹ou use a block oF wood between
the hamMer and the evacuator.
Then, a¼er You get the th±ng o½F, clean it up real good and lube it right. Next,
tiMe, You'²L have less work getting the evacuator o¾, and You'²l have saved a
buncµ oF damage, too.
What's the easiest waY to save a verY exPensive tank ¿n tube? Àake sure the
muzzÁe plug is in place anY tiMe Your tank is not on tµe range.
That plug keeps ÂÃ sorts oF th±ngs out oF the

tube-rain, dirt, windblown
trÄh, etc. Ånd iF those th±ngs get in the tube, there's ÆwaYs the danger oF blowing
up the tube.

Tµere's nothing healthY about Ç a round w±th the tube obstructed.
