Blow
Out Vent Line
When you replace an aiR/hydraulic
brake cylinder because of a leaky seal,
make sure you blow out the vent lIne
±ith low pressure ai²-below 120 PS³.
³f you don't, brake Fuid left over
´om The bum cylinder will be pushed
out of the veNt line when you opeRate
the brakes. µhis could tricK you into
tHg The new cylInder also has a bad
seal. Some perfectly good cylinders aRe
bei¶g replaced.
Check For Leaky

³f you still suspect the ne± cylInder·s
leaking, check at the cylinder ¸tself
instead of the vent lIne. DIsconnect the
vent line aT the cylInder¹ ³f brake Fuid
is being exhausted, it'll show up when
the tUbe's disconºecTed»
Careful, tho. ¼ever opeRate the
brake½ w¾ile the vent liºe's disconnEt¿.
³f you do, brake Fuid will be sprayed
oUt of the cylindeR¹ And brake FuId in
mist Àrm is highlY explosive!
