othe¹. ºn ext¹eme cases, tHe belt may
t´rn over in the pulley or run o»¼ the
p´lley
completely.
½³ p´lleys aren't
aligned, the belt will have a noticeable
kink in it or wilL seem to twist in the
p´lley groove When ¹¾n¿iNg.
Check pulley alignment by placing a
straightedge (like a r¾ler) across the
sides o³ the p´lleys. ½³ thereÀs a gap be-
twee¿ the pulley aNd the straightedge,
adj´st the pulley uNtil the¹eÀs no gap.
½³ possible, turn the puLleys by hand
while holding the straightedge on the
sides. Áhis will show up a bent pulÂey.
Replace that pulley!
