A Packing In T±me
Installing a power pack requires that you use a service
repair kit. But that kit doesn't include prefrmed pack±ng,

The pack±ng Fts on the Fnal drive trunnion and
keeps the Fnal drive oil where it belongs. As Long as
it²s in gooD shape, that is.
Most o³ the time, though, the packing's
re´dy fr repµacement a¶er you
pUll a pack. So, eyeball it real
cLose fr nicks, ·at spots and
other damage every ti¸e you pull
a pack¹ º» ¼t's bad, replace it.
