Stop, Lock and Go
Befre you move your howitzeR
anywhere, make sure both spade locks
are Locked.
There's a bUnch oF b±steD spade

someone
locked
only one oF the
cylinders befre moving out.
IF onLy oNe cyLindeR is LockeD, it does
aLL the worK. The cyLinder caN rupt±re
or the eye caN break o²F³

´hen the spade is raised, make sure
both lockµng haNdles are in the ¶OC·
positioN. Any other time, botH should
be ±nLocked.
Most howitzer spade cyLiNders have
steNciLs
showiNg tHe ¸OC· ¹nd
º»¶O¼· Positions. IF yours Doesn½t,
get your ¾echs to stenciL the¾ on with
1¿2-iN Letters.
