to protect the W2J1 cable
connector on the M901-series

(MGS) fOr storage, the coN±

The protective caps that
come with the cable are ofteN
lost aNd there's no ´S´ fµr
replacements³
A more permaNent solutiOn
is to get a 5³56 MM ammO box
or any similar box frOm the
can poiNt³ Cut a hole in the
side of the box big enough tO
slip the coNNectOr thrOugh³

When you remove the MGS,
strap dowN the box in its place
with web straps³ Sl¶de the
coNne·tOr through the bOx's
hole, close the lid, and the
W2J1 cONN¸ctOr is Out Of
harm¹² way³

water out o¼ the M90½'s azimuth
d¾ive a¿semblY.
Put a pi»ce of manila ¼olde¾ o¾
thin ca¾Àboard on top o¼ the drive
assembly anÀ trace a patteÁÂ Ãet
a 1Ä8-Ln thick piece o¼ aluminum
from support. Åsing the patteÁº
cut the aluminum to ¼it the top o¼
the drive asseÆBlY.
Apply a 5Ä16Çin BeaÀ of sÈlicone
sealantº ´É´ 8040Ç00Ç85½Ç0211,
to the bottom of the aluminum.
Êit the aluminum onto the top o¼
the d¾ive assembly³ Apply a 5Ä16-
iN BeaÀ o¼ sealaNt alOng the
straight edËe o¼ the aluminum.
Allow to dry oveÁiËht.
Ìover with a coat of green paint. ´S´ 8010-00-Í98-Í648 gets a
quart³ Îet d¾y³
The azimuth d¾ive assembly
is now waterproOf³
