Cuddle the Cradle
Never use the H-60 handset fr a
±andle. You will rip the cord out iF you
drop the case.
When you're testi²g the ±olding
spring fr tension, stand the set on end.
IF the ±andset stays in the cradle, it's
OK. ³F it drops out, the retaining clip
spring is weak. It needs to be replaced.
One way to make the spring last
longer is to pus± the handset frward
and Li´ up the transmµtting end F¶rst.
IF you jerk out t±e ±andset all The time, the retaining clip wiLL wear and
weaken t±e spri·g.
Make sure the handset is seated in t±e cradLe when it's not in use. ¸±e hoo¹
switch must be depressed befre you can get buzzed by soºeone.
