Dear Editor,
The heater hose on our
cÁcv
ambulance rubs against ±he al±eRator
and ±he adjus±er lock bolt. Then ²Le hose quickly develops a coolant
leak tha± makes the ambulance NMC.
We solved the problem with a

length of heater hose, NSN
ÄÅÆÇÃ
ÇÇÃÄÈÂÉÇÂÇÆ,
and plastic ties, NSN
ÊÈÅÊÉÇÇÃÇÅÄÃÆÇÅÆË
Simply split this hose and wraP it aroUnd th³ po´ion of the
cÁcv
hea±er hose that rubs against the alteRator. Then ±ie the protected
section of hose to the alteRator bµcket using th¶e plastic ties.
