Bolt Update
Bolts have been in the headlines. THey've been caLled substandard, mismarked
and counterfit .
.. but this does Not necessarily mean ±ey²re aLl bad!
T³e critical issue is being able to select ±e right bolt Fr the job.

bolt in where ±e TM caLµs Fr a Grade

boµt, you've got
prqblems. Tightening that weaker bolt to the orQue caLled Fr in the TM wiLµ snap
o¶ the boµt· ¸en you have a lot o´ work removing the stub. And even i´ you do
get ±e bolt torQued to the Higher spec, it couµD ¹iµ, causing eQuipment damage or
personneµ injury.
So, beºore you use a bolt, make sure you know its grade. Some bolts may be
identi»¼eD by counting the ½ashes on their heads; However, i´ iN doubt, don't use
the bolt.
