The silence can be deafning when
you know you have new batteries Fr
power iN your switchboard but yoU
can't hear anybody.
Chances are the springs arE sprUng,
keeping the battery case ±om making
good contact. Or, the spriNgs are cor-
roded. ²hat blocks the eLec³Ical cur´
rent ±om the battery case to your
switchboard.
Make sure the spriNg contacts are
snUg around the battery case contacts.
You µight have to pinch theµ together
to make better contact¶
