When you get your M60, check the

barrel and the spare to be sure you have
the ones that go with the receIver. Their

Those barrels are headspaced specI-
fcally FOr your M60. ±F you use dI²Fe-
rent barreLs, you damage barrels and
boLts and cause misFires.
When you clean and lube the barreL,
keep the barrel down and the³gas cyLIn-
der up to keep lube out oF the cylinder.
´ube causes carbon buIldµup in the cy¶
LInder and that causes your M60 to ²Ire
s·ow or F¸e once and quIt¹
±F you dIsassembLe the gas cyLinder
ºr cleaning, be sure to slide the gas
pIston back In so the piston holes match
the cylInder hoLes»the shiny end goes
in last. ¼therwIse, your gun wIlL ²ire
once and quit.
Be care½l to get aLL lube out oF the
chamber beºre you ¾e. An oIly
chamber causes Feeding and extracting
problems¹ The chamber should be
clean and dry.

it Àn Its side.
