Give the bipod and legs a good work-
out
duRing
cleaning. Move the leg
locks in and out .
.. the leg extensions
up and down .
.. the bipod back and
fRth. IF aLl parts oF the bipod don't
move smoothly, do this:
Put a ±w drops oF C²P on the leg
locks and work them in and out until
they move smooth³

Draw a line oF C²P down the seam in
each leg extension. WoRk the exten-
sions unti´ they move easiLy.

Use a FEw dRops oF C²P where the
bipod slides back and frth. Work in
the C²P.
Give the bipod legs a shake to ±el
fr looseness. IF you µel any play in
the legs, tighten the bipod screws with
your combination tool. IF screws keep
loosening during Fir¶ng, have your
a-
morer restake them.

Protect the bipod by keepiNg the legs

P¼nch a hole in each end oF the tag.
Stamp the receiver's serial n¼mber
on the tag.
PaiNt the tags blacK. ¸S¸ 8010¹00½
285¹4916 brings a pint oF black paint.
¾¼n ´acing wire thro¼gh the tag holes
and the bipod Leg holes. ²a¿e the tag
tight so it won't rattle.
