has the installation

AS-3916, AS-1729 Antennas . . .

he AS-3916 antenna is feeling a little
slighted.
Its cousin, the AS-1729 antenna,
has its own TM, but the AS-3916 doesn’t.
That shouldn’t bother you, though. You
can find repair parts for the AS-3916 in
the SINCGARS manual, TM 11-5820-
890-20P.
Check out Fig 108A. It has a couple of
items you’re probably looking for. Item 8
is the wire-rope tiedown assembly, NSN
locking nut—that holds the antenna on its
