Extended Cold Weather Clothing.

very time you wash your extended cold weather clothing system (ECWCS) parka
and trousers, you wash away more than just dirt. You wash away some of their water
repellency.
So, if your ECWCS
has gone through lots
of washing and rain-
water no longer beads
on the fabric surface,
it’s time to restore the
water repellent protec-
tion. If your post laun-
dry does that job, take
your
parka
and
trousers there. A field
or post laundry can
get five gallons of
water-repellent laun-
dry additive with NSN
