I’m connie and
I’m
cracked,
too! my job
was to track
down the truth
about the
luger pistol
found in the
wreckage of
the hindenburg.
as the story goes, a man on
the “burg” wanted to end it
all. so he put the luger to his
head and pulled the trigger.
he
missed
his
head…but
hit
the zeppelin.
ipso
facto-
to help crack this hard nut, I called
on the writers of
ps.
I set up
conditions as they were then…and
the writers willingly went along.
three
up
and
three
down
and
still
no answer.
so I took
another look at
the
lightning
theory.
did
lightning
hit
the hindenburg?
how ironic would it
be if
thor,
the god
of lightning and
thunder in germanic
mythology, sent a
bolt into the heart
of nazi pride.
the weather
was bad that
day. the
hindenburg
had been
circling…
delaying
arrival
until things
cleared.
but things
did
clear and
according to all
reports, there
was
no
lightning
in the area at
the time.
and no one
witnessed
thor’s
hand reaching out
to strike down
the nazi goliath.
no…neither
lightning
nor
irony
were in the air
that day. four
up
and four
down.
