REMOVAL

NOTE

There are four equalizing beams on the semitrailer. This procedure is for replacing

one equalizing

beam.

Repeat the procedure for the remaining three.

Remove self-locking nut (1) from equalizing

beam (2). Leave keeper bolt (3) in equalizing

beam (2). Discard self-locking nut.

Jack up middle axle (4) to relieve tension on

keeper bolt (3).
