Air Reservoirs
Open drain cocks (1) on air reservoirs (2).
Drain all moisture from reservoirs.
Close drain
cocks.
NOTE
An
overheated
hub
indicates
an
improperly
adjusted
or defective
service brake.
An abnormally cool
condition
indicates
an inoperative
service brake.

Brakes
Immediately
after road use, check hubs for
significant temperature
variation.
WARNING
Do not work under the gooseneck
unless
lockpins
are securely
in
place. Failure to secure lockpins
may
allow
gooseneck
to fall,
causing serious injury or death.

Kingpin
Lubricate kingpin (1) and pickup plate (2) (refer
to Appendix J).
