Removal of Chock Blocks (M870)
1.
Remove chock blocks (6) from wheel assemblies (7).
2.
Put chock blocks (6) in stowage bin (8).
3.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 for other side of semitrailer.

Coupling of Semitrailer to Towing vehicle
I .
Line up towing vehicle (9) with semitrailer (10).
2.
Slowly back towing vehicle (9) to within three feet of front of semitrailer (10).
3.
With towing vehicle (9) in neutral and power takeoff engaged, release winch cable (111).
4.
Pass winch cable (11) over fifth wheel (12) and guide roller (13). Attach winch cable (11)to lifting eye
(14) on semitrailer nose (15).
