Crankshaft (2)
Check dial indicator reading, while rotating
crankshaft. Total reading should not exceed
0.005 inch (0.13 mm).
If total dial Indicator reading Is less
than 0.005 Inch (0.13 mm), perform
next step. If reading exceeds 0.005
Inch (0.13 mm), remove rear cover
and clean mating surfaces. Perform
steps 13 and 14 again.

New seal (10)
Using 1/2-inch drive 9/16-inch socket and
0 to 250 ft lb (0 to 350 N•m torque wrench,
tighten to 24 to 29 ft lb (33.6 to 40.6 N•m).
Using seal mandrel and 16ounce ball-peen
hammer, put in.
