When performing step 4, care should be taken not to damage crankshaft journals and
upper main bearings. Engine damage could result.

New crankshaft (7)
Lower into cylinder block.

Rear main crankshaft
journal (8)
Two new thrust
washers (9)
Put in.
Roll thrust washer around crankshaft
until thrust washer seats evenly with
new upper main bearing.
