CHAPTER 2
ORGANIZATIONAL MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Section I. SERVICE UPON RECEIPT OF EQUIPMENT
2-1. Scope.
This chapter contains the Organizational Maintenance Instructions for inspecting, servicing,
checkout, and troubleshooting the M918 Etnyre Bituminous Distributor Body,

a.
Check for leaks and damage in the lubricating oil, hydraulic system, and air lines.
b.
Lubricate the distributor as specified in LO 53895-371-12.

Check meters and gages for damage and loose connections.
d.
Check all tools and equipment assigned to the distributor to make sure they are serviceable,
clean, and properly stowed or mounted.

illustrated in Appendix C of this manual.
