Special tools, TMDE, and support equipment for electric winch maintenance are limited to jumper cables. (Refer to

Before beginning tests on the winch circuits, make a general inspection. Check for:

Loose connections
b.
Loose ground wire.
c.
Frayed, broken, or corroded wiring.
