Often, tightening a loose connection or replacing a frayed wire will solve your problem.

Troubleshooting procedures for the

electric winch are given in table 12-1. It is arranged by malfunctions, in the following order:

a.

Trough will not raise or lower (Malfunction No. 1).

b.

Trough will not raise (Malfunction No. 2).

c.

Trough will not lower (Malfunction No. 3).

NOTE

The electric winch will not operate if the truck battery is dead. In this case you must troubleshoot the

chassis electrical system. Refer to TM 92320273-20.
