Cable Anchor Removal.
NOTE
Cable drum can be set up for clockwise or counterclockwise installation of winch cable. Make
note of cable anchor slot used to secure cable on winch drum prior to removal to ensure
proper installation.

Push cable anchor (Figure 1, Item 4) and cable (Figure 1, Item 5) out of cable anchor slot (Figure 1, Item 6).
Remove cable (Figure 1, Item 5) from around cable anchor (Figure 1, Item 4), and pull cable (Figure 1, Item
5) from winch (Figure 1, Item 7).
3.
Remove cable (Figure 2, Item 5) from winch (Figure 2, Item 7) and off of winch frame (Figure 2, Item 8) by
pulling through roller (Figure 2, Item 9), cable tensioner (Figure 2, Item 10), and pulley (Figure 2, Item 11).
