HEU TONGUE CYLINDER HYDRAULIC HOSES “AE”, ”AF”, “AG”, “AH” AND
COUNTER BALANCE VALVE (DB) REPLACEMENT (Sheet 2 of 5)

Hold elbow (D) with adjustable wrench and use wrench to remove hose assembly “AE” (B) from elbow (D).
4.
Use adjustable wrench to remove elbow (D) from counter balance valve “DB” (E) and remove preformed
packing (C).
5.
Hold elbow (F) with adjustable wrench and use wrench to disconnect hose assembly “AF” (G) from elbow (F).
6.
Use adjustable wrench remove elbow (F) from port “CK1” on front glacis and remove preformed packing (C).
7.
Hold elbow (H) with adjustable wrench and use wrench to remove hose assembly “AF” (G) from elbow (H).
8.
Use an adjustable wrench to remove elbow (H) from counter balance valve “DB” (E) and remove preformed
packing (C).
9.
Hold elbow (J) with adjustable wrench and use wrench to disconnect hose assembly “AG” (K) from elbow (J).
10.
Use adjustable wrench to remove elbow (J) from cylinder “EB” (L) and remove preformed packing (C).
