HEU TONGUE CYLINDER HYDRAULIC HOSES “AE”, ”AF”, “AG”, “AH” AND
COUNTER BALANCE VALVE (DB) REPLACEMENT (Sheet 4 of 5)
INSTALLATION:
NOTE
Remove all caps and plugs as necessary during installation.
1.
Place mounting bands (A) around cylinder “EB” (B). Position counter balance valve “DB” (C) on cylinder “EB”
(B) and
use socket and ratchet, install four mounting bolts (D)
2.
Place new preformed packing (E) on elbow (F). Use adjustable wrench to install elbow (F) into cylinder
“EB” (B).
3.
Place new preformed packing (E) on adapter (G). Use adjustable wrench to install adapter (G) into counter
balance valve “DB” (C).
4.
Use wrench to install tube “AH” (H) between adapter (G) and elbow (F).
5.
Place new preformed packing (E) on elbow (J). Use
adjustable wrench to
install elbow (J)
into cylinder
“EB” (B).
6.
Place new preformed packing (E) on adapter (K). Use
adjustable wrench to
install adapter (K) into counter
balance valve “DB” (C).
7.
Use wrench to install hose assembly “AG” (L) between adapter (K) and elbow (J).
