HEU LOCKING CYLINDER HYDRAULIC HOSES “AJ”, “AK”, “AL”, “BZ”
REPLACEMENT (Sheet 5 of 7)
INSTALLATION:
NOTE
Remove all caps and plugs as necessary during installation.
1.
Place new preformed packing (A) on elbow (B) and use adjustable wrench to install elbow (B) into locking
cylinder “EC” (C).
2.
Hold elbow (B) with adjustable wrench, and use wrench to install hose assembly “AK” (D) onto elbow (B).
3.
Place new preformed packing (A) on elbow (E) and use adjustable wrench to install elbow (E) into “CE2” port
on front glacis.
4.
Hold elbow (E) with adjustable wrench and use wrench to install hose assembly “AK” (D) onto elbow (E).
5.
Install bushing (F) on hose “AK” (D) and
position
hose “AK” (D) in clamp (G). Use socket and ratchet install
five bolts (H) to secure hose (D) in clamp (G).
6.
Place new preformed packing (A) on elbow (J) and use adjustable wrench to install elbow (J) into locking
cylinder “EC” (C).
7.
Place new preformed packing on tee fitting (K) and use adjustable wrench to install tee fitting (K) onto
elbow (J).
8.
Hold tee fitting (K) with adjustable wrench, and use wrench to install hose assembly “AL” (L) onto tee
fitting (K)
