TONGUE CYLINDER ARMOR REPLACEMENT (Sheet 2 of 2)

INSTALLATION:

1.

Place wooden supports on tongue (A).

2.

Using five technicians, position armor

(B) on wooden supports under tongue

cylinder (C).

WARNING

Use caution when lifting tongue. Injury to

personnel or damage to equipment could result

through careless handling.

3.

Using five technicians, manually raise

armor (B) to position on tongue cylinder

(C) and fasten strap around tongue cylinder

and armor.

4.

Using socket, install two screws (D),

lockwashers (E), and flat washers (F).

5.

Remove wooden supports from tongue (A).

6.

Raise tongue (A) to position shown (TM-10).

7.

Using socket, install two screws (G),

lockwashers (H), and flat washers (J).

8.

Remove strap holding armor (B).
