Truck parked, engine off, handbrake set .

Preliminary Procedure .

For trucks with power takeoff, tell direct suppor t

maintenance to remove power takeoff .

Removal .

1 .

Using pliers, unhook clutch pedal return spring (1) and brake pedal retur n

spring (2) .

2 .

Using 3/4-inch wrenches , hold nut (3) and unscrew and take out screw (4) .

3 .

Take off clutch control rod (5) .
