1.
Take out four screws and washers (1) and take off bearing cap (2).
2.
Take off and throw away bearing cap gasket (3).
3.
Check that bearing cap oil seal (4) is not torn, damaged or leaking. If oil seal (4) is
damaged, take it out and throw it away.
