Tighten all connections where a leak is detected.
CONDITION/INDICATION
IS FUEL SYSTEM IN GOOD OPERATING CONDITION?
DECISION
YES - Go to Step (8).
NO - Fuel filter is leaking or damaged. Replace fuel filter (Volume 2, WP
0258). Go to Step (10) to verify problem
is solved.
NO - Fuel lines are bad. Replace tubing (Volume 2, WP
0254). Go to Step (10) to verify problem is solved.
NO - AFC standard pump filter is bad. Replace AFC standard pump filter (Volume 2, WP
0259). Go to Step (10)
to verify problem is solved.
NO - VC governor fuel filter is bad (M936A1 and M928 models only). Replace VC governor fuel filter (Volume
2, WP
0260). Go to Step (10) to verify problem is solved.

ARE FUEL TANK VENT LINES UNOBSTRUCTED?
Remove air vent lines at both ends and clean with compressed air.
