Crank engine for 15 seconds.

Check batteries for overheating by feeling battery terminal connections.

ARE THE BATTERIES OVERHEATING?
DECISION
YES - Repair, clean, and tighten all hot battery terminal (Volume 2, WP
0349), starter (Volume 2, WP
0303),
and ground (Volume 2, WP
0350) connections. Go to Step (9) to verify problem is solved.
NO - Go to Step (2).
