IS THE ALTERNATOR OVERHEATING?
a.
Start engine and run for approximately 10 minutes.
b.
Stop engine.

Check alternator for high temperature by holding hand NEAR alternator.
CONDITION/INDICATION
IS THE ALTERNATOR OVERHEATING?
DECISION
YES - Go to Step (4).
NO - Perform Battery/Alternator Gauge Inoperative troubleshooting (WP
0108).
